FANTASCOPES

Phenakistoscope (also known as fantascope), from the Greek “illusory spectator”, is a device invented by Joseph Plateau in 1829 to demonstrate the illusion of a moving image. It consists of several drawings of the same object, in slightly different positions, distributed over a smooth circular plate. When that plate rotates in front of a mirror, the illusion of a moving image is created.

Techniques:
Digital assembly
Pencil Sketch
Rotoscoping
